https://github.com/xpilot-project/xpilot/releases    get the latest from there, and maybe delete the plugin in the plugins folder manually if not done by the "uninstaller"

Disclaimer:  I don't use xPilot.  I'm just commenting on something that looks odd to me.

Why, in your second screenshot, are you running xPilot v1.3.38?  That's an old version that no longer works with the new server architecture / Velocity.

Are you sure that you had xPilot and xPlane closed when you installed the new version?

Perhaps try this - completely wipe xPilot off your computer, reboot, then reinstall.

Disclaimer:  I don't use xPilot and am not a software developer, so don't know if this would be helpful at all, but based on other comments I see in the community, it might be 🙂

Please delete all traces of your current (old) xPilot. And download the beta.20 version. If you have 1.3.38 then it may not autoupdate.

Old version was installed in your \users\username\appdata\local\xpilot directory and there is uninstall.exe there.

Thank you for the hint. Who would know that it needs to be done. XPilot does not say anything.

The newest version V2.0.0-beta.20 is shown but connect window is grayed out.

Any more hints? 🙂

Check the plugins folder in X-plane if the xpilot is there. There was an issue in the original beta.18 that two files were in wrong directory. But this has been corrected.

Yes, I did. I think I will repeat the whole process again, uninstall and do a fresh install. Thank you!

Now to uninstall should work via Windows "add/remove programs".

I would restart the PC. As it seems you have a process stuck...

I am having this same issue. I have ran my xPilot installer and installed the normal stuff to Program files however, when i move on to the next part of this install, and it tells me to select the X-Plane 11 root folder (which i do correctly (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11)) once i select in and press OK i get an error message as shown below. I believe it is something to do with file permissions but i have been through and added the 'Full Control' permission to each of the the account things. I am really stumped here and can not figure out what is wrong. I have tried disabling my anti virus, running as administrator AND even a full uninstall and reinstall of X-Plane 11. Someone help me please.

Same issue here. Everything was fine until I tried to connect - same errors. I had version 1.3.38 and it didn't ask me to update. Tried updating to latest version and link on desktop goes to old version?  New version states is working in plugin admin but can't bring up interface.  Now can't connect - great upgrade.

You need to completely uninstall the old version first.

I did. I got the new version working but I do not like it - the box is bigger, the font is larger, and I cannot assign a key to have it appear and minimize any longer. We all do not have 35-40 inch or multiple screens. And if you push the flightplan button, it sends you to the VATSIM website.  Wish they would have left it alone.  Not an improvement (interface anyways).
