Alexey Surkov Posted February 2, 2022 at 07:02 AM Posted February 2, 2022 at 07:02 AM Hello. Downloaded xPilot client version v2.0.0-beta.20. Immediately start crashing the Sim. Every time. If the client has uninstalled the simulator starts normally. Below is a part of the log: {This application has crashed because of the plugin: xPilot 2.0.0-beta.16}==-- This happens with all versions of the client . 265 / 5 000 Результаты перевода
Martin Buchheim Posted February 2, 2022 at 09:47 AM Posted February 2, 2022 at 09:47 AM I have the same problem, even updating after the latest Beta from a couple hours ago. X-Plane won't start with xPilot plugin enabled, even if I disable everything else.
Alexey Surkov Posted February 2, 2022 at 10:02 AM Author Posted February 2, 2022 at 10:02 AM Thank you, I'm not the only one in the Russian-speaking community either. The most interesting thing is that everything went great on another copy of the simulator on my laptop. How are you going to solve the problem? Support is still silent. Board of Governors Solution Don Desfosse Posted February 2, 2022 at 12:20 PM Board of Governors Solution Posted February 2, 2022 at 12:20 PM I would suggest you remove all traces of all versions of xPilot from your computer (perhaps using Windows Add or Remove Programs) and then install a fresh version of the latest beta (currently beta 20). That seems to be helping many people. Don Desfosse Vice President, Operations
Robert Shearman Jr Posted February 2, 2022 at 02:23 PM Posted February 2, 2022 at 02:23 PM Also -- your post is unclear whether you are on beta 16 or 20. As a reminder, X-Plane cannot be running while xPilot is updating. Both the separate xPilot app AND its associated X-Plane Plugin must successfully update at the same time and be on the same version. That may have been the cause of your issue. Cheers, -R.
Alexey Surkov Posted February 2, 2022 at 02:59 PM Author Posted February 2, 2022 at 02:59 PM I tried earlier versions of the client. Removed all previous versions with a professional uninstaller. Once again I will say that I have 2 simulators, on a laptop and on a PS. Everything went well on the laptop. Now I'm preinstalling the simulator on the computer and installing the client on a clean simulator. I'll let you know about the results.
Martin Buchheim Posted February 2, 2022 at 03:11 PM Posted February 2, 2022 at 03:11 PM (edited) I did another clean uninstall, removed all traces of the plugin and rebooted my computer. After installing the latest Beta, it works again now. Edited February 2, 2022 at 03:11 PM by Martin Buchheim
Alexey Surkov Posted February 2, 2022 at 05:40 PM Author Posted February 2, 2022 at 05:40 PM I suggest you watch the video 4 minutes from the demolition of the old client-registry cleaning-checking the work of the sim without a client-starting the sim-crash log https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc1TBpb2-lM
