XSquawkBox possibly conflicting with xPilot

Hi,

When downloading the new xPilot and reinstalling CSL files I found that XSquawkBox was gone... I reinstalled it and now when launching XP11 with xPilot I get an error message that reads:

"XSquawkBox controls TCAS / AI. xPilot could NOT acquire control, our planes might NOT appear on TCAS or 3rd party apps."

Is this anything to worry about or should I go about things as usual and just check if the TCAS works in the sim?

Hi Alex,

no need for XSquawkbox anymore as it isn't supported anymore after the VATSIM Velocity update a week ago. Delete all XSquawkbox traces (especially in the plugins folder) and just use xPilot. CSL setup is done in the XP11 Plugins menu under xPilot. Audio and VATSIM connection setup is done in the xPilot client window.

Thanks! Is there any specific place to put the CSL files or can it be anywhere?

Can be anywhere but you have to select directories in the settings.
