Allison Pell Posted February 20, 2022 at 02:16 AM Posted February 20, 2022 at 02:16 AM I noticed when setting up vPilot, that I couldn't get my microphone to move the gauge in the setup window. Reinstalled, ran as administrator, no change. On a hunch, I changed my mic sample rate. I did have my audio interface running single channel 96k sample rate. Switching it down to 48k and vPilot was happy and working. Probably a pretty rare issue as who the heck runs a mic with that sample rate outside a recording studio, but hey, I had the gear and cranked it up... Jake Saw Posted February 24, 2022 at 11:30 PM Posted February 24, 2022 at 11:30 PM The latest AFV library should be capable of resampling automatically to 48k (it's using WASAPI under the hood) so I'm wondering if it's something else This window is where you had 96k selected? Allison Pell Posted February 26, 2022 at 09:39 AM Author Posted February 26, 2022 at 09:39 AM That is indeed the setting window where it was set. I was having issues with other software that really didn't like having mic and output at different sample rates.
