1341101 Posted February 22, 2022 at 10:57 AM Posted February 22, 2022 at 10:57 AM Hiya I've been trying to somehow find a way to be able to assign an uncorrelated aircraft a squawk in C-Mode. Such aircraft do not appear in any of my lists (with the exception of the FP-List that has a long list of all aircraft connected) and I am unable to - ".QB CALLSIGN [ENTER]" - ".am CALLSIGN [ENTER]" Or any other ways to try and get the squawk assigned, or at least try to open the flight-plan for the uncorrelated aircraft. So I am wondering, is this at all possible? I certainly know it's a function in software like vSTARS. Thanks. C1-rated controller
Daniel Klepp Posted February 22, 2022 at 11:09 AM Posted February 22, 2022 at 11:09 AM The way we solved this was to enable the squawk field in the FP list. But as you say that list could be pretty long when “N” is toggled, so it takes a bit of scrolling C1/INS Director of Norway FIR Vatsim Scandinavia
Harry Sugden Posted February 22, 2022 at 11:11 AM Posted February 22, 2022 at 11:11 AM Enter isn’t the right command. ASEL the a/c by typing some or part of the call sign, then the ASEL key - usually NUMPLUS Then F9, then type the squawk Then press the ASEL key again. This will assign the squawk 🙂 2 ATC Examiner, VATSIM UK No nonsense controlling Twitch - HazControl ✈️ @HVatsim

Another solution (for those using for example TopSky with own squawk generator), select the aircraft via ASEL, press F3 + ASEL to assume the tag. It will then appear in your exit list. For VFR flights where you want to create an flightplan, F1+A then ASEL to open the flightplan window.
