This month we explore 3 of those parks. Starting in Blackpool, pilots will fly over Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales National Park. Turning Northwest and crossing in Lake District National Park, which is a top area for stargazers as it’s isolated from city lights makes it one of the best areas for watching the sky at night. Our next stop is North Pennines nature preserve a 2000 square kilometer moorland and a UNESCO Global Geopark made mostly of mud and volcanic ash.
