Dayton Fucik Posted March 11, 2022 at 12:42 AM Posted March 11, 2022 at 12:42 AM I have been having problems with Xpilot connecting since the new update. All I get is the settings and flight plan that are able to open and work. I open Xpilot while loaded in the game (at the gate) and it still won't let me connect. In Xplane it says that it is sending but no receiving. I've uninstalled it as well with it still making the same issue. If I could possibly get help about this that would be much appreciated. Graham Clarkson Posted March 13, 2022 at 02:55 PM Posted March 13, 2022 at 02:55 PM I’m experiencing the same problem. It’s been a while since I have used my simulator so I thought it may be because I didn’t have the latest version of xPilot. I can download the latest version but I cannot install it as a dialogue box is saying that I already have xPilot open and I need to close the application. But that’s not the case. can anyone help? Justin Shannon Posted March 24, 2022 at 07:59 PM Posted March 24, 2022 at 07:59 PM The xPilot plugin is not installed. Re-run the xPilot installer and make sure you choose the correct X-Plane path. Dayton Fucik Posted March 31, 2022 at 08:07 PM Author Posted March 31, 2022 at 08:07 PM I'm assuming it goes in the resource and plugins folder in xplane 11 like normally.
Lauri Uusitalo Posted April 1, 2022 at 06:47 AM Posted April 1, 2022 at 06:47 AM Installer will ask you first installation directory for the actual program, i.e. EXE, -> Program Files. Then it will ask for the X-plane directory and you select it (e.g. c:\X-plane 11). You do not point it to plugin directory. It will then install the plugin part to resources\plugins\xpilot folder. Tim Waldon Posted December 26, 2022 at 04:36 AM Posted December 26, 2022 at 04:36 AM Hello Nicholas, Did you reboot your computer after the xPilot install was complete? I have seen this issue before after a clean xPilot install. Rebooting the computer fixed the issue, and the microphone and listening device showed up in the dropdown list. Klaus Axhausen Posted December 29, 2022 at 08:42 PM Posted December 29, 2022 at 08:42 PM Hi, I have the same problem since the last update. Before it worked fine. Deinstalled and reinstalled. Downloaded fresh CSL models, because I got a error message of missing CSL models although they were in place. X-plane is not recognized, neither XP11.50 nor XP12, which I have on two differnt SSD`s on the same PC. The pathes are correct. Does anybody have an idea? Or should I fix the problem by reinstalling the old version, which was functioning without problems. My log.txt files were rejected for upload, sorry. An answer would be very much appreciated! Klaus Axhausen Posted December 29, 2022 at 08:58 PM Posted December 29, 2022 at 08:58 PM Reinstalled version xPilot-2.0.0-beta.39-Windows. That fixed it. Will stay with this one , until the new one will work.
