Steven Perry Posted January 20, 2007 at 01:47 AM Posted January 20, 2007 at 01:47 AM I had VRC/ASRC/everything else working all fine and dandy with Norton 2006. Now that I've switched to Norton 2007, I cannot the ground-ground communications to work at all! No intercom, override, or monitoring! I thought I was a little smarter than your average bear, but this one has me stumped. I've configured my personal firewall thusly: Program controls: VRC "Allow" Advanced Settings: General Rules Configure: ASRC/VRC rule at the very top ALLOWING IN AND OUT to/from ANY computer for TCP AND UDP on ports 6809, 3782, 3290 LOCAL and REMOTE. I think I've covered all basis here... what'd I do wrong? Any ideas? Again, only change to my system was I upgraded from 2006 to 2007 when my subscription ran out. Steven Perry Posted January 20, 2007 at 01:54 AM Author Posted January 20, 2007 at 01:54 AM Addendum: Maybe it's not me? IC MON and OV worked with 2 controllers but not with 2 other controllers. Maybe it's them? But... One controller from the group I couldn't talk to was talking fine with one of the controllers I could talk to. Now I'm really confused... but at least I'm working part of the time! Steven Perry VATSIM Supervisor
