Hello all. Are these the correct settings to use ( I am on FENIX)

I have the following

1. ATC (I assume this is transponder) - STBY/AUTO/ON

2. ALT RPTG OFF/ON

3. TCAS - STBY/AUTO/ON

Here are my settings.

On stand while setting up - ATC-STBY, ALT RPTG-OFF, TCAS - STBY

Push back and taxi - ATC-Auto, ALT RPTG - OFF, TCAS - STBY

Just before Takeoff - ATC - ON, ALT RPTG - ON, TCAS - TA/RA

Should I do anything on Mode C button on VPILOT at anytime? Or does it get set according to settings above?

Thanks

Mode C is the same as Altitude reporting mode.  You shouldn't need to touch it in the pilot client as it should automatically sync to the Altitude mode in your simulated aircraft, but, you can use the pilot client to check and ensure it is working as it will light up in blue when active.

The VATSIM convention is to have altitude reporting on whenever you are moving, on the ground or in the air.  So you may wish to modify your procedure to have it on when ready to taxi.
