Tyler Nordberg Posted June 2, 2022 at 06:38 PM Posted June 2, 2022 at 06:38 PM Hello all, Please bare with me and apologies if this is a burdensome or repetitive question. I'm in the process of configuring AFV to work with my VRC client. In the setup instructions (Step 4 here and page 15 of the AFV User Guide). The instructions refer to setting up a "communications panel" (pictured) yet I cannot find the panel where I am supposed to make those changes. I've looked in both AFV and VRC. Where is the communications panel which I am supposed to configure? Thanks in advance. Running up-to-date AFV and VRC as a connected observer with Windows 10. Dustin Rider Posted June 2, 2022 at 07:42 PM Posted June 2, 2022 at 07:42 PM IIRC, all you do is simply click on a rectangular button you wish to configure. In the example picture above, click the rectangular button where it says "Example" (not Position Name) and the fields below will be lit up in white. You'll have to make sure "PRIM" is unchecked, as are "TX" and "RX". VRC won't allow you to configure any frequency that is in use. This panel is found under "Tools" and "Comms Panel," as described in the VRC User Guide.
Tyler Nordberg Posted June 2, 2022 at 09:16 PM Author Posted June 2, 2022 at 09:16 PM Thank you for the help! I just got connected and it was very rewarding to hear chatter on the frequencies after I finally got it sorted out. Thanks again!
