ok so i have a united arlines plane and i just wanna know if atc will allow my call sign to be UNITED 542

As I recall UAL542 is not one of the banned callsigns. Remember to use the ICAO code (UAL) and not the IATA (UA), when filing your flightplan. If the flightnumber is already in use, you can change it to e.g. UAL542A,

... and that applies on a fight by flight basis, so if it's in use you'll be told (when filing your flight plan, I think) so you can probably use it in most flights.
