John McMurdo Posted June 28, 2022 at 12:31 PM Posted June 28, 2022 at 12:31 PM (edited) I know xPilot is only tested up to 20.04 at the moment, but I cant see any reason why it would not work on 22.04, I decided to update to 22.04 and I cant seem to get it to run. It seems to install OK, and it appears on my list of plugins in X-Plane, I can open up the settings but cant open the connection dialog, also it did not automatically download the model matching files upon installation, if my memory serves me correctly, it gave me that option when I first installed it. Has anyone else had any luck running on 22.04? Or am I going to have to go back to 20.04 again. John McMurdo Posted June 29, 2022 at 01:35 PM Author Posted June 29, 2022 at 01:35 PM OK so an update - I checked the rux x-pilot after finishing installation, and it did do something - it came up with an error log about ALSA / JACK and various sound devices. I checked I had ALSA and JACK installed I noticed a few missing components so fixed them, but no change. Anyway here is the error - I hope someone can make sense of it! There has been an error.
