Andreas Fuchs Posted June 28, 2022 at 07:51 PM Posted June 28, 2022 at 07:51 PM New alpha version 0.12.48 is now available for download: IFR is now set as the default flight rule in the flight plan dialog The "Connect" button will be disabled while swift is not connected to a simulator Fixes a bug where text messages transmitted from swift were not received by ATC on certain frequencies Fixes broken notification sounds for received frequency messages that do not mention the own callsign Internal code refactoring and cleanup that should not be noticeable to users Download here: https://github.com/swift-project/pilotclient/releases/tag/v0.12.48 Note: although it is an "Alpha" version, it is stable and safe to use 2 Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC

Andreas Fuchs Posted September 13, 2022 at 02:49 PM Author Posted September 13, 2022 at 02:49 PM No idea what kind of difference this would make. We have released that we first test behind closed doors. They then move to Alpha for everyone else to test. Previous Alpha versions are then bumped up to Beta status. Tobias Dammers Posted September 14, 2022 at 03:11 PM Posted September 14, 2022 at 03:11 PM The difference would be that people would not incorrectly assume that it's expected to be unstable, full of bugs, and subject to change in incompatible / breaking ways without further notice.
