So im using fsx se which has no fmc and only the default GPS. I am able to import my waypoints from simbrief but have no idea what to do when atc asks me to go direct to (waypoint). Board of Governors Don Desfosse Posted July 16, 2022 at 12:25 PM Board of Governors Posted July 16, 2022 at 12:25 PM With FSX, if asked to go direct to a waypoint, you'll use the Direct-to functionality in your GPS. Unfortunately, that means the rest of your flight plan will be lost, and you may have to rely on Direct-to for each waypoint for the rest of your flight. Alternatively, you can explain to the controller that you only have an FSX default GPS, that would wipe out your flight plan, and ask if you could remain on your present clearance. The controller would likely allow it if they are able to accommodate. You should at least make sure you've updated your GPS.
