New to Vatsim but not to flying would love to spend some time learning.

Hi all, my name is Chris I am very new to vatsim but I’ve got hundreds of hours of flight time and thousands in simulators. 
 

my problem is that I learned to fly at an uncontrolled air port and spent next to no time using radios or communicating more than basic info. I’d like to take my flying knowledge to the next level and try to get my ppl soon. I’m using vatsim as a good place to start as it is significantly cheaper than flying in real life. 

if anyone is even controlling somewhere that isn’t an international airport that would be willing to spend some time and have some patience with me I’d love to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks!
