The Saudi Arabia vACC is opening the recruitment for the following positions within the staff team as follows:
 

Air Traffic Services | Director (ACCSA3)

Requirements

• Minimum of C1 rating.
• Resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Good planning skills
• Can work within a team.
• Good knowledge of Saudi airspace.
• Good knowledge of ICAO Doc 4444 - PANS ATM
• Good teaching skills.
• A mentor within the vACC.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the department and the department's staff.
• Develop and oversee the department's training programs.
• Recruit mentors.
• Train controllers.
• Contribute to the development of the vACC's policy on Air Traffic Services and wherever needed.
• Create exams, SOPs, and other resources to support the training programs.
• Submit end of the quarterly report of training as part of the quarterly divisional report.
• Other duties as assigned by the vACC Management.

 

Events and Marketing | Director (ACCSA4)

Requirements

• Minimum of S1 rating.
• Resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Good planning skills
• Can work within a team.
• Good knowledge of editing software such as adobe creative cloud or similar.
• Good knowledge of how to use social media platforms.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the department and the department's staff.
• Contribute to the development of the vACC's policy on events and marketing wherever needed.
• Be responsible for events coordination with other parties as number 1.
• Write descriptions.
• Make banners.
• Contribute to the development of the department.
• Occasionally produce contents related to the department.
• Submit the end of the quarterly report of training as part of the quarterly divisional report.
• Other duties as assigned by the vACC Management.

 

Events and Marketing | Deputy Director (ACCSA41)

Requirements

• Minimum of S1 rating.
• A resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Good planning skills
• Can work within a team.
• Good knowledge of editing software such as the adobe creative cloud or similar.
• Good knowledge of how to use social media platforms.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Help in developing the department's plans for developing events.
• Be responsible for events coordination with other parties.
• Write descriptions.
• Make banners.
• Contribute to the development of the department.
• Occasionally produce contents related to the department.
• Assist the vACC management or the department director where needed.

 

Events and Marketing | Social Media Manager 2 (ACCSA43)

Requirements

• Minimum of S1 rating.
• A resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Able to work within a team.
• Basic knowledge of editing software such as the adobe creative cloud or similar.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of Instagram and Twitter.
• Market events on the assigned platforms following the plans in the Events policy.
• Market other departments’ contents on the assigned platforms as required.
• Occasionally produce contents related to the department.
• Assist the vACC management or the department staff team where needed.

 

Technical Operations | Director (ACCSA6)

Requirements

• Minimum of S3 rating.
• A resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Ability to effectively lead in a team environment
• Thorough knowledge of Python/JavaScript, MySQL/MongoDB databases, and Git & GitHub (including branching, merging, pull requests)
• Knowledge of HTML, and CSS with basic knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of PHP is appreciated but not required.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the department and the department's staff.
• Develop the department where required.
• Update the Saudi sector file with each AIRAC cycle update and whenever required.
• Develop the sector file and make it close to the real world as possible.
• Make Aerodromes’ layouts.
• Make a manual about how to use the sector file.
• Develop the HQ and the vACC’s website if needed.
• Contribute to the development of the vACC's policy wherever needed.
• Submit end of the quarterly report of training as part of the quarterly divisional report.
• Other duties as assigned by the vACC Management.

 

Technical Operations | Deputy Director (ACCSA61)

Requirements

• Minimum of S1 rating.
• A resident of Saudi Arabia vACC or willing to transfer.
• Clean VATSIM record in the last 6 months.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Thorough knowledge of Git & GitHub (including branching, merging, pull requests).
• Knowledge of HTML, and CSS with basic knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of PHP is appreciated but not required.
• Basic front-end skills.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of the department.
• Take charge of Euroscope plug-ins.
• Make a manual for each plug-in that explains how to use it.
• Make discord bots that may help the vACC’s staff team or the controllers or the pilots.
• Assist the vACC management or the department director where needed.
