Spyridon Poulimenos Posted July 29, 2022 at 09:14 PM Posted July 29, 2022 at 09:14 PM (edited) Hello, I am new to VATSIM. I have MSFS 2020 and I am using the A320 Neo. However, I realised that, MCDU-wise, it's not possible for the plane to perform a "holding pattern" or a "go around". My question as a new VATSIMer is: Is one expected to be able to perform a "holding pattern" or a "go around" in VATSIM? ----- or is it not an essential requirement? If yes, any suggestions how to do it in MSFS since apparently it's not feasible to do it automatically (since it's not working)? Lars Bergmann Posted July 29, 2022 at 11:33 PM Posted July 29, 2022 at 11:33 PM (edited) Yes, you are expected to be able to do both. Also you can always fly both of those by hand or on a lower automation mode if your FMC can't handle it in LNAV/VNAV. Andreas Fuchs Posted July 30, 2022 at 09:43 AM Posted July 30, 2022 at 09:43 AM Better get the freeware FlyByWire A320Neo. Do not use the default A320Neo of MSFS.
