Claudiu Dragomir Posted August 23, 2022 at 08:55 AM Posted August 23, 2022 at 08:55 AM Navigraph Simbrief LittleNavMap I use Simbrief to create the flight plan. It calculates the route, fuel, altitude, take-off weight and much more. Navigraph will import the flight plan from Simbrief. You can use the iPad app, or the MSFS addon. You can pick an adequate SID, approach and STAR, if the Simbrief default wasn't good, or the clearance delivery had a different idea. It will give you access to the appropriate charts and will display the route on a map, together with your current position. LittleNavMap is great for VFR flights. It can be setup to show airspaces, but you still need to find charts for VFR approaches and departures on places like chartfox.org. For IFR, you can import or calculate a flight plan file, but I never needed that. Most of the time, I use LittleNavMap to check for traffic around me and to figure out my ground movements, especially when the scenery doesn't quite match the airport diagram.
