VATSIM Pakistan vACC is now seeking candidates for the following position: Pakistan vACC Director ATS (Air Traffic Services) Department – ACCPAK2 Responsible for: vACC ATC Training and Services. Responsibilities: Responsible for all day-to-day operations of ATC-Training within Pakistan vACC. Develops and updates all operational material, training guidelines, and policies for ATC Training with vACC that ensures compliance with the outline requirements stated within the VATSIM Global Rating Policy. Appoints Mentors with the consent of ACCPAK1 as required and sends a letter of recommendation for Instructors to the vACC Director and Division Staff for approval. Reply to training-related support tickets on the VATWA HQ on a regular basis. Help Local staff member where required. Familiarizes visiting controllers with local published procedures and endorses visiting controller approvals. The ideal candidate: Must be in good standing with the VATSIM network. Must hold a minimum of a C1 rating. Candidates interested in pursuing an I1 rating are considered a bonus. Is expected to be able to commit at least 5-7 hours per week to this role. Demonstrate a great knowledge & understanding of local policies and VATSIM policies such as CoC/CoR/Privacy/GDPR and Safeguarding Minors. Pakistan Airspace knowledge will be considered as bonus. Must be a member of VATSIM West Asia Division & Pakistan vACC or is willing to transfer if selected. Clean VATSIM record in last 1 year. Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Demonstrate Good leadership, planning & managerial skill & can work within a team. Able to commit to the position for a minimum of 1 year. Reports directly to: Pakistan vACC Director – ACCPAK1 Director ATC Training Department – VATWA3 Candidates shall include: Candidates shall include the following information and present a CV-based document upon application. Name, CID, vACC/Division/ARTCC, and Email Address. VATSIM CV detailing past experience, current experiences such as staff roles, skills, and any real-world attributes that may help in the role. Letter of intent detailing why you want to be the future vACC ATC Training Director, your plans for the training department any ideas you might have or suggestions that could benefit the vACC and the Training Department.
