Wolfgang Pfeiffer Posted October 8, 2022 at 01:58 PM Posted October 8, 2022 at 01:58 PM Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office has put the file "xpilot-2.0.0-beta.35-Windows-XP12.exe" in quarantine because of suspect to be a Trojan. I downloaded the file from Vatsim and I am using X-Plane 11. The download of the x-plane12 file was because I will install X-Plane12 later. Has someone similar experience, that a Antivirus-App gives an alert?? Maybe this alert is wrong??
Wolfgang Pfeiffer Posted October 9, 2022 at 11:28 AM Author Posted October 9, 2022 at 11:28 AM I think, this has been a wrong alert. My system works stable. Two scans with bitdefender have been okay.
Tim Waldon Posted October 9, 2022 at 04:18 PM Posted October 9, 2022 at 04:18 PM I have not seen any alerts with my antivirus which is Bitdefender. Scanned both xPilot 11 and 12 downloads with no alerts. No one on xPilot Discord has reported any issues either. Good chance that Acronis is reporting a false alert. Justin Shannon Posted October 9, 2022 at 06:38 PM Posted October 9, 2022 at 06:38 PM You can ignore the alert. It’s a false positive. Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC Developer: xPilot, vATIS
