New to Vatsim networkd, I've been veiwing the material I can, and haven't found an answer I'm looking for... I there a way to request ATC service for certain airports? I.e. KORD is kinda busy, but no ATC online for that airport, is there a way to request a controller to become active for that airport/airspace? Thanks in advance! Not any kind of official answer -- really just my opinion -- but no, there's not really a great way to ping the ATC staff asking either for personal service or even to ping folks and say "hey, it's kinda busy, anyone want to staff up?" We're all volunteer hobbyists, and people pop on when they have the time. ATCers have the same tools to see how much traffic is out there as anyone.
