Mickael Arcos Posted November 1, 2022 at 04:57 PM Posted November 1, 2022 at 04:57 PM Hello. I am trying to join the Discord (and learning stuff too) so I'd like to take the New Member Orientation Course. I see in my profile that my Pilot Rating is "New Member", so I suppose I've never taken it (I registered in 2015 but I forgot what I've done then). When I go to the Pilot Training center, where I suppose is the place I should go, I see this, which seems not very coherent to me...: From here, I don't really know how to proceed to take and pass the course; and join the Discord. Sorry if this is obvious to most, a little help is appreciated here. Thank you! Mickaël.
Alistair Thomson Posted November 1, 2022 at 06:55 PM Posted November 1, 2022 at 06:55 PM If you've been a member since 2015 then you already have the P0 rating and don't need to take the test. Your next rating would be the PPL. You can still look at the New Member Orientation Course if you wish, at my.vatsim.net/learn to see what the course contains. 1 Alistair Thomson === Definition: a gentleman is a flying instructor in a Piper Cherokee who can change tanks without getting his face slapped.
