John Stockton Posted November 6, 2022 at 03:19 PM Posted November 6, 2022 at 03:19 PM (edited) I'm getting confused, so many versions coming out so fast. Back at v b.35 the download stated for XP11 (ran perfectly). The last 2 beta's don't mention XP11 or XP12. Is v b.37 for both XP11 & XP12? I'm a XP11 user, should I stick with v B.35? I ask because when I did update to v b.37 I was connected to VATSIM but I would not show up on SimAware. I could see others but not me. What is an easily confused 60 year old supposed to do? John Stockton Posted November 6, 2022 at 05:21 PM Author Posted November 6, 2022 at 05:21 PM (edited) Since I use XP11, Should I point to XP11 instead of XP12 (Which, by the way, is installed but not ready for VATSIM)? XP11 is in it's own folder. XP12 is in it's own folder also. Lastly, When I do want to use both XP11 & XP12 Will I have to install this twice, pointing to both folders? Tim Waldon Posted November 7, 2022 at 03:35 PM Posted November 7, 2022 at 03:35 PM Hello John, You have two options in your situation since you have both XP11 and XP12 installed on your computer. - (Recommended) Select your XP12 folder location for that step. As Justin mentioned, the plugin works for both 11 and 12. This way you can fly XP12 whenever you are ready. - Skip the XP12 folder location step by leaving the folder path blank and clicking Next. But remember, when you are ready to fly XP12 you will need to run the installer again and specify the folder location to get the plugin installed.

I must be misunderstanding your comment because X-Plane 12 does in fact work for Vatsim😕 Edited November 8, 2022 at 06:25 AM by Daniel Mckee
Tim Waldon Posted November 8, 2022 at 05:40 PM Posted November 8, 2022 at 05:40 PM No, do not point to your XP11 directory for the "X-Plane 12 Location" step . Leave it blank and click next and skip that step. Basically, the step in your screenshot is for users that want to install the additional plugin for X-Plane 12.
