Diogo Quaresma Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:25 PM Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:25 PM (edited) Hello guys. I'm having troubles using the vpilot with MSFS. After the update i was not able to connect vpilot with MSFS. I researched a little and found that the win reg could be wrong so i went there and was actually pointing MSFS for the wrong folder. Corrected it and reinstalled vpilot. After the reinstall i was able to use vpilot but only once. Once i restart my computer vpilot seems unable to connect with MSFS. Can anyone help me? Ross Carlson Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:32 PM Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:32 PM The registry isn't involved at all, so that was just a coincidence. Something is blocking the SimConnect connection. Maybe antivirus or firewall software? Diogo Quaresma Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:57 PM Author Posted November 25, 2022 at 08:57 PM I actually don't use an antivirus or firewall software, just the windows defender. What it's bothering me is the fact that this only started happening after the 40th Anniversary update. As far as i know MSFS has a SimConnect by default but is there one i can install? Ross Carlson Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:00 PM Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:00 PM It's not something you install, it is built in. Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
Diogo Quaresma Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:03 PM Author Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:03 PM So basically the only solution i'm seeing for my problem is a brand new install of MSFS...
Ross Carlson Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:43 PM Posted November 25, 2022 at 09:43 PM It's hard to say if that's even going to help, not knowing what's causing it. Do you have any other SimConnect add-ons? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC

Ross Carlson Posted November 26, 2022 at 01:21 AM Posted November 26, 2022 at 01:21 AM Did you mess around with SimConnect.cfg or SimConnect.xml files at all?
