I have a question about the Squawkbox 2.3 Beta for fs04

Im new here and I was wondering why the Squawkbox for fs02 and 04 aint working it says link forbidden I believe so can someone please help me

I've never heard this kind of issue.

It might help if you add just little more information.

Can you say little about your system (XP ? FS2004 ? router? antivirus ? firewall ?).

And describe (just shortform) step by step what you do and where it goes wrong.

 

But first of all, have you read the Pilot Resource Center (PRC). Follow the PRC with care and you can save much problem.

i had the same issue,despite being registered both here and on Avsim.

downloaded via Avsim,that did work.

just go to Avsim.com,then enter in the file library searchbox "squawkbox"

then you'll get sb2.3 on the second or third page iirc.

OK. Now I understand your problem.

It's not a problem to install or run squawkbox.

 

You can just not download the squawkbox software.

 

There is a new link at the top of that page.

 

" Complete VATSIM Software Package for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Convenient one download package for Microsoft Flight Simulator pilots. "

 

Alternative use this package. It include all basic Vatsim software to get online.

Well ok thanks i downloaded that and now I caint connect once im on SB it freezes it self when it searches so long and if I put that ip 127.0.0.1 in it finds the server as soon as I click search, but after I click join a box pops up and says "Sorry for the inconvenience Squawkbox.exe has incounterd a problem and needs to close" but every once and a while i can get it up there so i dont know what the problem is

It sounds like SB crash once and a while. Do you run the extern SB to avoid possible HostSB.dll problem.
