Nico Heertjes Posted February 12, 2023 at 07:22 PM Posted February 12, 2023 at 07:22 PM Hello I have Xplane 11 and Xplane 12 installed. When i run a plane (like the C337 of THRANDA) on Xplane 11, swift gui is reading my plane without any problem However when i do the same in Xplane 12, my plane is not seen. As you can see in uploaded pdf, it works great in Xplane 11, first pic and not in Xplane 12, second pic. I have no idea how to solve this problem Document.pdf
Daniel Blasig Posted February 12, 2023 at 07:37 PM Posted February 12, 2023 at 07:37 PM You just have to adjust the installation location of X-Plane each time. Unfortunately there is no nice way to support both simulators in parallel. You could install a 32-bit and a 64-bit swift variant and specify the path to X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12. Alternatively, you can test the following script (plus video) to see if it helps you with the "automatic" switch: https://github.com/FreezeManny/SwiftXP11-12Switcher https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7xyFpuXh9s 1 Best regards Daniel

Nico Heertjes Posted February 14, 2023 at 12:19 PM Author Posted February 14, 2023 at 12:19 PM Sadly my flightsim friend has the same error, swift will not read the plane in XP12. He runs xplane on a mac and we had no problems at all flying online in the past with XP11. What he had done sofar: 1 Delete XP11 and 12 2 Delete Swift with the uninstaller and delete the org.swift-project folder comletely. 3 Reinstall XP12. 4 Reinstall Swift (for the mac) 5 Make a new modelset with for XP12 Result negative, still the same problem, so we are out of options here.
