Hi,

I am probably being lazy but is there a location where one can download complete sets of charts?

Cheers.

Why is this still sticky after all these years if the website isn't active anymore? Can someone go through and clean up the forums a bit?

yep

more importantly, for where?

for the US, see page 3. also to add to that post, flightaware.com has them in packs on single pdf's instead of 30 different pdf's.

see all the other links posted for other countries

http://vwings.com/charts/ does not seem to accept Australian codes. ie YBBN (Brisbane) gives an error message saying that it is not in Chartfinder.

Even codes that are in there do not seem to work - ie KLAX. KLAX shows a list of information, but the links do not work.

http://chartfinder.vatsim.net/ does list Austalian airports - but again nothing seems to work. ie always a Page Not Found error.

Use http://www.aircharts.org instead of chartfinder.vatsim.net

I'm also keeping an updated worldwide list of links to AIP in different countries at http://aviation.allanville.com/charts

My replies are being ignored for some reason, but could I once again suggest that you look at https://www.eurocontrol.int/articles/ais-online ? It is exactly what you are trying to do - an updated worldwide list of AIPs - the difference being that it it maintained by an official aviation authority.

I know, I don't go through them all constantly and some I haven't been able to find updated links for. That's why I made it possible for other people to help contributing with updates.

I have a link to that on the page as well and it's true, it's basically the same. But previously when I have looked at it there were several countries missing so therefore I kept my own - plus I have several other sections regarding flight planning etc. But maybe they are more complete now, so I'll review it once again and maybe just point to them for the AIP to different countries.

I usually use https://fltplan.com -- you need an account, but, it's free to register for one.

Anyone still use FSNav? Seems my info along the bottom of the screen (file name and LAT/LONG coordinates have somehow disappeared on me. Now sure what I did, but can't seem to find a key or click on something to get it back.

That's the problems with forums - they become so messy. But yes, some admin should at least unsticky this.

For something still being actively maintained I'm running https://aviation.allanville.com/ where you can find charts - and it's crowdsourced. Some links are dead but anyone can submit updates.

As a new member I thought it was me being a little dim, but as with most forums, just go to the last page and you'll find out that all the good info on the first page is no longer relevant, links etc. VatSim does seem to have its fair share of abandoned links, Charts being one.
