Abdulahad Khan 968002 Posted February 24, 2007 at 10:11 PM Posted February 24, 2007 at 10:11 PM hi im about to download FSUIPC soon... I was wondering that do i also have to download WideFS 6.71 (WideClient.exe ) FSX FSUIPC4 4.07-- NEW Full release of FSUIPC 4 (incorporating WideFS 7) for use with FSX January 25th 2007 (1.55 MB) WideServer7 is built into FSUIPC4, you will need the WideClient from the WideFS link below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WideFS 6.71 The WideClient.exe included in this zip is to be used with the WideServer7 module which is included with FSUIPC4 from now on. What is Widefs anyway??? Oh and do i HAVE to purchase the registration key for FSUIPC or can i use it w/o it, like the previous version? Thank you (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. Oh and do i HAVE to purchase the registration key for FSUIPC or can i use it w/o it, like the previous version? Thank you I think Peter Dowson's website gives an explanation of what WideFS is, basically its what you use to link mulitple computers together for integration with FS. So you only need WideFS (wide client) if you want to use more than one computer to run FS. You can use FSUIPC free, but you get more features with a purchased registration key. I'm still using the free version, I keep meaning to purchase a serial/key, sometime I will.
