I followed the excellent guide provided for jumping through the install hoops with squawkbox and FS2004. I can log on and connect with Vatsim network. However, I am getting two errors on Squawkbox startup. First, a "critical error", icao.dat missing msg Second, a "csl_icao.csv is missing" and the follow on stuff about aircraft being wrong, etc... Now believe it or not, I have spent the last hour and a half reading through the many threads in this forum and the pilot resource center looking for the answer to this problem. I am sure I must have done something silly, and just missed an obvious instruction. But I have tried to look. Plus, I have verified the CSL library folder in the FS2004 aircraft folder. I also have verified both of those files being present in the Squawkbox directory. So my question is, where all do those two files need to be at? i.e., is just those two locations, or are there more? Except for here: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=108&highlight=icao+dat and unfortunately that solution didn't work for me.
