John White 828331 Posted March 26, 2007 at 11:42 AM Posted March 26, 2007 at 11:42 AM I'm not having a good month. I have FS9 on C drive and FSX on my F drive. Thats OK and it worked fine. Now I have somehow disabled drive F and cannot access anything in it incl.FSX. Any idea how to resurrect my F drive please? No hardware was touched nor removed. Lennart Vedin Posted March 26, 2007 at 04:05 PM Posted March 26, 2007 at 04:05 PM I suppose F: is an extra Harddisk unit. First look in BIOS ( typical push key "Del" to enter BIOS ) If the disk is a IDE-disk (40/80 pin flat-cable) the BIOS should show the disk as an identified unit (up to four IDE-units can be connected include CD/DVD-drive) if not, check harddisk cable is proper connected. If it is found in BIOS then the problem is in Windows configuration. Note if the disk is SATA (later type) you can not see the disk the typical way in BIOS. / Lennart Vedin /
