Just installed TWRTrainer today, and whever I try to open an airport file (even the default "KBTV_example.apt"), I get this message:

Run-time error '13': Type mismatch

Would anyone happen to know what might be the issue there and how to fix it?

Check the formatting of your airport file, make sure there are no extra spaces, tabs, etc., including at the end of a line where you might not normally notice it. If you can't figure it out, send me the file at ross at vatsim dot net.

Hi Ross, I have the same problem on my computer. I use the same airport file as all the other intructors in my FIR. Even when I try the sample file from BTV, it does it. Do you know if anything else could cause this?

Thanks for your help!

If your Windows is set up to use commas instead of decimal points then that might cause it.

Hi Rodrigo,

switching Windows to English Area Scheme (or whatever it is called in english/portuguez, I have a german WinXP) in the Task bar and from decimal comma to decimal point helped for me.

Two hours delay??? In that case cancel the 'good morning'...

Happy Landings,
