Ken Bonnett Posted April 2, 2007 at 01:54 PM Posted April 2, 2007 at 01:54 PM I noticed that VRoute utilizes .NET Framework 2.0. In Microsoft's update site, .NET Framework 3.0 is an optional download, not to mention a huge one. Any advantages or conflicts working with version 3.0 instead of 2.0? Anthony Sheehy 866297 Posted April 2, 2007 at 05:12 PM Posted April 2, 2007 at 05:12 PM .net 3.0 is the renamed winfx that was written for VISTA. It allows backward compatibility for programs written for VISTAs WPF to work on XP. Consequently, you should only use .net 3.0 in that circomestance. .Net 2.0 should be sufficient for VRoute and won't make the blindest bit of difference for VRoute or most other programs presently available.
