Timothy Metzinger 874487 Posted April 4, 2007 at 02:28 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 02:28 PM Today I tried to enter a new routing between KIAD and KEWR: SWANN V445 DQO Normally flown at 17000 (FL170). When I attempted to verify the route, I got an error that V445 wasn't known. Perhaps routes shouldn't be verified if the system doesn't have a full database of airways? Otherwise, I _love_ the application! -Tim
Owen Catherwood 903683 Posted April 4, 2007 at 03:25 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 03:25 PM I've also gotten this error when I start an airway with a intersection, or there's a large distance gap between fixes or VORs, i.e. SUMMA6 LKV AVE SADDE6 returns an error for AVE even though all fixes are valid. Michal Rok Posted April 5, 2007 at 05:49 AM Posted April 5, 2007 at 05:49 AM According to my data for cycle 0608, there is no airway V445 from SWANN. Michal vroute.net founder
Owen Catherwood 903683 Posted April 5, 2007 at 06:22 AM Posted April 5, 2007 at 06:22 AM It looks like the airway data for that cycle must be bad in the DAFIF, as the 0608 FAA data shows V445 as MITCH GEEMO SWANN GATBY KERNO ODESA DQO (and continuing on) KZSE C3/Facilities Administrator
