I know it's a little daunting at first to get connected but once you do you'll find it realitively easy. To answer your question (or I guess to NOT answer it ): Have you heard about and read the Pilot Resource Center found at http://www.vatsim.net/prc? Also, have you searched these forums for an answer you like? I ask this because many people have the same problem connecting as you do and I know that instructions are posted somewhere. Well, just read a post dealing with that subject in which the author states he's put together a docomeent describing how to connect. None of the new clients will but SB2 will continue to be supported precisely because we still have some FS98 and FS2000 pilots in our ranks.
