Alex Vainer 929287 Posted April 20, 2007 at 02:00 AM Posted April 20, 2007 at 02:00 AM Quick question about three monitors. Right now, I have two monitors working, both connect to my PCIe graphics card. Is it possible to connect a third monitor to my onboard graphics card via the port I have in the back of my PC, and still run my duals off of my PCIe? Thanks. Ross Carlson Posted April 20, 2007 at 02:08 AM Posted April 20, 2007 at 02:08 AM Probably, but it depends on the motherboard. Some motherboards automatically disable the onboard video card if you plug in a separate PCIe card. If you have the driver installed (and it shows up under the devices list in My Computer) then you should be able to activate it and add a third monitor. If you right-click the desktop and choose properties, then settings, you'll see a third monitor in the gray box. You should then be able to enable that third monitor and position it however you want, relative to your two existing ones. I plan on having one monitor for tower view... the other for my strips... and the other for the primary. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!
