what is "Vatsim library", can you supply a link location and zip-filename, it is easier to understand what you refer to.

Glenn,

See if there is a ReadMe.txt file in the zip file. There usually is and it will give instructions on how to extract the zip file into your aircraft folder.

The "Read Me" file doesn't have instructions on how to load it to FS9. Any ideas?

Most downloadable add on aircraft that don't have an installer will require you to copy the files into the FS9 directory and the aircraft folder.

The best idea I can think of is if you install another file and then use the readme for that file, to do similar.

Some aircraft will have files that need to be copied to the "gauge" folder, some will have files needing to be copied into the "texture" folder. But most are a simple drag and drop into the aircraft folder.

Glenn,

Lennart asked the most important question - can you supply a link location and zip-filename

If we had that info we could help by looking at the file.

Glenn,

It is library.avsim.net

In the zip are a number of files. One, like Paul said, is a readme - actually this one is called "Install Instructions.txt" - guess what it tells you in there?

VENEAVIONES CESSNA CITATION II

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Just open the .exe file and follow the instructions of the installer.

Enjoy!

So, just like it says, run the exe. I don't have FS9 on this machine but would imagine it finds your FS9 path and automatically installs to the correct place. If not, simply browse to your main FS directory. By default this would be C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9
