Robert Droege 917433 Posted February 17, 2005 at 09:26 PM Posted February 17, 2005 at 09:26 PM Is there a way to request a controller for a certain airspace be on line for a flight I would like to do? For example if I knew I wanted to fly from Key West FL to Tampa or Jacksonville tomorrow night, is there any way to request Miami approach be online or any of the towers? Thank you. Paul Biderman Posted February 19, 2005 at 10:57 AM Posted February 19, 2005 at 10:57 AM You could go to the forums for the ARTCCs you're interested in and post the request there. Paul Biderman ZAN DATM

Lennart Vedin Posted February 19, 2005 at 11:18 PM Posted February 19, 2005 at 11:18 PM At Vatsim main site http://www.vatsim.net to the right you see different Divisions. In the division then you might go one more step into the specific ARTCC you search. / Lennart Vedin /
Robert Droege 917433 Posted February 19, 2005 at 11:41 PM Author Posted February 19, 2005 at 11:41 PM Thanks, sure enough at the top of the VATUSA events page is a pilot and atc booking link!
Lennart Vedin Posted February 20, 2005 at 02:11 AM Posted February 20, 2005 at 02:11 AM > top of the VATUSA events page is a pilot and atc booking link Note that this booking link is not as much used in U.S. Each ARTCC (e.g. Los Angeles, Oakland .. have there own booking system). Remarks: Hopefully most booking will be auto-linked into ServInfo in future. At the current moment you can pilot-book in ServInfo for Europe (as this pilot-booking still is a beta-test, they don't want to relase for all world). / Lennart Vedin /
