Anthony Mercadante 1009431 Posted May 13, 2007 at 06:53 PM Posted May 13, 2007 at 06:53 PM how do I know I've connected to the ATC server? For example, I'm logged into Squawkbox and Flight Sim 2004 Century of Flight, and I don't see any controllers listed to the right in the other box, etc. on Squawkbox. I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume that just means no controller is operational at this time, and that I should just fly E, G, airspace, etc. and announce intentions to take off as if there was no tower. For Squawkbox 3, you get a welcome-messsage, and it say "Connected" at the bottom-bar. If no controller at the right, then there are no ATC-controller in your area. You can use ServInfo ( http://www.avsim.com/hangar/utils/servinfo ) , or vRoute to see where ATC (and other aircraft) are before you log in to VATSIM. / Lennart Vedin /
