New ZAU TA and DATM

Please join me in welcoming Alexander Zayas to the ZAU Training Administrator position. Alex has been a long-time member of ZAU serving in various staff positions throughout his years with the facility. Alex brings an [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ortment of experience to the table through not only his [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance with ZAU, but also through his knowledge of flight and air traffic as a University of North Dakota (UND) commercial pilot and CTI student.

 

Also join me in welcoming J. Jason Vodnansky to the ZAU Deputy Air Traffic Manager position. Jason has served as a member of the ZAU Facility Advisory Board (FAB) since January of this year. He brings a lot of experience to the table with management and organizational skills from his extended time with the VATSIM network dating back to the SATCO era. Jason also, in the real world, serves as a Citation Captain for a charter operator based out of the Chicagoland area.

 

Congratulations to both of these gentlemen on their new positions. I look forward to working with you both.

 

I’d also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank both Aaron Crawley (previous ZAU TA) and Marko Savatic (previous ZAU DATM) for their hard work and dedication to the facility. I will miss working directly with you gentlemen and know that your time and effort spent have been greatly appreciated.
