Norbert Pflug 899571 Posted June 8, 2007 at 08:33 AM Posted June 8, 2007 at 08:33 AM Hello, i am trying to add some real-world flight-plans to the database base most of the times i am having troubles with some points in fairly northern Canada ? for example: flight ELLX-KLAX - real world plan from today original ATC routing DIK2X DIK UN852 TERLA UL608 BUB UM624 TULIP UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UH71 LIRKI 6410N 6720N 6930N 7040N 7160N NADMA NCAN 090N LAT50 100A LAT1 YBE J517 EDGES J3 LKV J67 LIN J189 AVE J1 DERBB SADDE6 yields following return when validating: a) ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint UM624 b) ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint NCAN ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint 090N ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT50 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint 100A c) ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT1 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint YBE -a) doesn`t want to know certain airways between BRU and TULIP - if i manually enter the waypoints it takes it -b) seemingly having a problem understanding the NorthCanadian Track system (NCAN) -c) that area always has troubles around YBE and linking it back into "airways system" next attempt by chaning the error with UM624 into waypoints DIK2X DIK UN852 TERLA UL608 BUB nik nik08 tolen TULIP UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UH71 LIRKI 6410N 6720N 6930N 7040N 7160N NADMA NCAN 090N LAT50 100A LAT1 YBE J517 EDGES J3 LKV J67 LIN J189 AVE J1 DERBB SADDE6 brings following: : ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint NCAN ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint 090N ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT50 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint 100A ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT1 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint YBE so I change the NCAN track into waypoints DIK2X DIK UN852 TERLA UL608 BUB nik nik08 tolen TULIP UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UH71 LIRKI 6410N 6720N 6930N 7040N 7160N NADMA 070N 080N 090N LAT50 100A LAT1 YBE J517 EDGES J3 LKV J67 LIN J189 AVE J1 DERBB SADDE6 brings following ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT50 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint 100A ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint LAT1 ERROR: Unknown airway/waypoint YBE and after that any attempt to enter the flight plan waypoints manually until it "meets up again with an airways that it understand" fails with error messages like DIK2X DIK UN852 TERLA UL608 BUB nik nik08 tolen TULIP UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UH71 LIRKI 6410N 6720N 6930N 7040N 7160N NADMA 070N 080N 090N dct YBE dct ymm dct yeg J517 EDGES J3 LKV J67 LIN J189 AVE J1 DERBB SADDE6 - YBE unknown - YMM unknwown - YEG unknown and so on... Would appreciate if somebody can look into the database for this northern-Canada area, as it doesn`t matter if I try and add a west- or eastbound flight plan... If it comes within the vicinity of that area, it won`t be validated with "OK" Cheers, Norbert >>>>>> http://www.fly737.com <<<<<<
Michal Rok Posted June 11, 2007 at 03:38 PM Posted June 11, 2007 at 03:38 PM Does your flight plan work with AIRAC cycle 0608 or is it 070x only? regards, Michal vroute.net founder
Norbert Pflug 899571 Posted June 12, 2007 at 06:45 AM Author Posted June 12, 2007 at 06:45 AM Michal, thats a good question - it runs with the latest "rea-world" AIRAC cycle as it comes from a real-world flightplanning system Is that the problem ? Being to advanced ? Cheers, Norbert >>>>>> http://www.fly737.com <<<<<<
Michal Rok Posted June 12, 2007 at 08:48 AM Posted June 12, 2007 at 08:48 AM Being incompatible with the only freely available navigational data cycle, which is 0608. Michal vroute.net founder
