Mikhael Ahmad 994504 Posted June 20, 2007 at 10:33 PM Posted June 20, 2007 at 10:33 PM Hi Guys, I am completely new to VATSIM, and this way of online flying . I managed to get my connection to the servers set up fine and everything seems to be up-and running very smoothly. However I tried to FILE a FLIGHT PLAN on the VATSIM site earlier today, I filled in the plan as asked and after selecting "File Plan", it said that it would be valid for two hours. When I went I spawned at the departure airport and asked for clearance, I was told that no flight plan had been filed. I know I have missed something out along the way, but what do I need to now do to deliver my plan to the ATC currently working? Is there another program I need to download to get the plan sent to the ATC? Any help is much appreciated.
Larry James 901346 Posted June 20, 2007 at 10:52 PM Posted June 20, 2007 at 10:52 PM The web site (of what I believe you just described) is one way. You can also use the pilot client (FSInn or SB3). All three are referenced in the link, http://usa-w.vatsim.net/prc/VPTPublic/122/122a/122a.htm . -- L. James -- L. D. For FSInn/VATSIM issues, please test the FSInn Installation sticky and linked FAQ. It really works!
