DeWayne Demland 922861 Posted February 25, 2005 at 12:09 AM Posted February 25, 2005 at 12:09 AM I have done everything I can as following the set up for the advance voice chat. Every time I try to connect I get an error that says I need to log into a VATSIM server first, and that it doesnot recognize my id and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word. What am I doing wrong? Jeremy Gardner 923418 Posted February 25, 2005 at 05:25 AM Posted February 25, 2005 at 05:25 AM I've had the same problem a couple of times. From what I can tell, when it works for me I don't do anything with AVC until everything else is up and running, it's the last thing that opens. I'll be interested to hear what some more expert users have to say on this...
Trent Hopkinson Posted February 25, 2005 at 05:46 AM Posted February 25, 2005 at 05:46 AM yeh if your not actually logged into the network, AVC can't log in. It needs to have your connection to Vatsim in Squawkbox connected first, and after that has taken place, AVC can log in, but only if your User ID and P[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word are correctly set in the Pilot ID tab, and the Callsign in the Connection Tab matches that callsign you logged in as (ie AAL217, N271YR etc) Trent Hopkinson YMML. www.youtube.com/musicalaviator WorldFlight 2002,2008,2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2015
Lennart Vedin Posted February 25, 2005 at 09:16 AM Posted February 25, 2005 at 09:16 AM Additional info. Enter callsignal correct, see subject 12. Callsignal problem. Troubleshooting at http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?p=2262#2262 Make sure in Squawkbox connection that Roger Wilco voice are checked, and that AVC -> page Pilot info -> Autentication server are selected. / Lennart Vedin /
