Frederick John Brown 10160 Posted July 2, 2007 at 07:55 PM Posted July 2, 2007 at 07:55 PM Hi All, Does anyone know why I can't speak to ATC on SBx3/FS 2004/XP ? When I signed up I calibrated my mike and the playback was a bit distorted - but readable. I have [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned a joystick button (04) to push to talk for COM 1 & (05) for COM 2. Put in the requested frequency from ATC (COM 1) and made it ACTIVE. I have set SBx3 Com panel to NORMAL. I can hear ATC quite clearly but have an AUDIO FAILURE from my end I have tried another mike, Hope you can help, Cheers
Clement Roy 924512 Posted July 4, 2007 at 12:08 PM Posted July 4, 2007 at 12:08 PM Might be configuration, do you have more then one place to plug-in your Microphone, front and back of your PC, if so, try the other place.
Lennart Vedin Posted July 4, 2007 at 02:10 PM Posted July 4, 2007 at 02:10 PM If calibrated and playback is readable, it indicate the correct audio are connected and setup for SB3. > and made it ACTIVE 1. Ok you mean you get green "ON". Then when push to talk (PTT) , note that the SB3 panel COM green "Tx" should indcate as well , else the PTT are faulty. 2. Take a text-chat with the ATC and ask if he/she here anything transfeer noice or nothing. / Lennart Vedin /
