Karen Dunbar 1002434 Posted July 31, 2007 at 02:20 PM Author Posted July 31, 2007 at 02:20 PM And "great job" to the VATUSA controllers, too! Many thanks to the ZNY and ZBW controllers who rolled out of bed at o' dark thirty on Sunday morning to provide an incredible "send-off" for the many pilot who participated in this event. To me, that takes real dedication and love for the hobby. My counterpart in the UK wrote Please p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] on my sincere thanks to everyone who controlled over that side of the pond. The traffic on the NAT tracks when handed to me and my fellow shanwick controllers was very well separated indeed, which also helped when approaching EGLL. IMHO, the outstanding service at the start set up a well-organized flow that made the Oceanic separation easier to achieve, and contributed to the overall success of the event. You guys rock! Colin Levy 976130 Posted July 31, 2007 at 02:44 PM Posted July 31, 2007 at 02:44 PM Very Excellent job by all the controllers from New York to London. They all did a great job. Oceanic was handling every aircraft perfectly. London Control was on its toes with its best. Also want to thank the US controllers for getting up in the wee hours of the morning to control a bunch of heavies! THANKS AGAIN!!!
