Scenery Height Problem

Tonight I have connected at EGDL & have encountered a problem. I just wondered if anyone else has a solution.

Started Flight Sim at EGDL & the Altimeter read 440 feet. Connect to Vatsim via Squawkbox & the altimeter shoots up to 540 which is the airfield height for Lyneham. On pressing the B key to correct the pressure. The altimeter drops back to just under 400 feet.

The altimeter reads 29.74 which I believe equates to 1007 which is the current QNH for Lyneham. So I am starting 100ft below ground level & therefore going to be -100 feet in the air. To confirm this I started FSNav & this also shows me at 400ft when on the ground & not the correct 540. (not a good start considering I wanted to fly low level)

I am using FS2004 with UK2000 & FS Global. I have tried altering the priorities of the scenery but that doesn't seem to help..

Any help solving this problem would be appreciated....

Thanks LK
