Bryan Wollenberg 810243 Posted September 1, 2007 at 06:33 AM Posted September 1, 2007 at 06:33 AM Just wanted to officially thank everyone who controlled and flew in tonight's event. It was a blast!! A mere 2 hours into the event, our controllers accounted for over 50% of the ATC in all of North America, and our loyal pilots were over 1/3 of the air traffic on the entire VATSIM Network!!! Not too bad for a little Friday night fun. Pilots, if you have feedback, we'd love to hear from you: http://www.laartcc.org/feedback.php Hope everyone had a good time. Bryan Wollenberg ZLA! Karen Dunbar 1002434 Posted September 10, 2007 at 01:57 AM Posted September 10, 2007 at 01:57 AM Michael, Pilots who fly events listed on the VATUSA Events calendar earn points for their operations, and the top points earners will have their names listed on the VATUSA Events homepage. This program is in beta testing between now and the end of the year. For now, it is, as you phrased it "a fun thing to keep up with". However, if lots of pilots decide to participate, who knows about the future? Karen Dunbar Events Director VATUSA
