New VACC establish in Shanghai FIR, PR of China.

Dear all division chief and staff,

 

I am writing to introduce a new VACC operation in the Shanghai FIR, PR of China.

 

Shanghai VACC is founded by a group of people who are interested in providing ATC service in PR of China. Since January, we have prepared some charts, radar sectors, docomeents and website, etc. for normal operation within the FIR. Now, all these publications and information have been put on a website: http://shanghai.vatasia.net/ZSPD/ZSPD.htm. You may want to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ess our website and find more information about us. From now on, Shanghai VACC shall provide ATC service and training of Shanghai FIR.

 

Due to the limitation of manpower, we are going to open Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD / PVG) only at the beginning. Once the airport has been fully functional and running smoothly, Developments of other airports will take place simultaneously.

 

As we all know, Pudong is the busiest airport in both the FIR and China. At the beginning of operating a new VACC, it is essential for us to cooperate with divisions nearby and FIRs in the East Asia region.
