hi, grrr i did not think i would be going through all this trouble just to fly for a virtual airline!!! haha im sure its all worth it seems like its going to be lots of fun.. ok anyways heres whats up:

i was having trouble with seeing the session in multiplayer list in fs9 but it shows up after a bit.. so i dont know whats the deal with that.

second, when i load squawkbox i get a critical error: could not open file. but squawkbox still loads.

then when i try to file a flight plan it says im missing CSL_ICAO.csv i did the whole thing with entering the line into fs9.cfm but i still cannot get the list of aircraft.

any help would be greatly appreaciated

I think maybe all your problem can be solved.

Did you really try enter IP address 127.0.0.1 (as it sometime is needed, little random, you can always enter this for sure).

If still problem, try subject "13. FS2004 Multiplayer Sessions SBRelay doesn't show up. "

See subject: "14. Squawkbox critical error icao.dat is missing then csl_icao.csv is missing. "

Hi! Have tried everything to avoid the problems with icao.dat etc. Also all the suggestions described in §14. It dosn't work for me. What else can be wrong? SquawkBox folder is in "Program Files" as are FS9 (2004). Hoping for an answer.

§14 "Try start Squawkbox.exe by doubleclick the file in Explorer, and not from a shortcut ". This did help for all other I've read, so I don't know why not for you.

1. This post: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?p=6508#6508

2. Put a copy of the files in "My Docomeent" and under the root C:

Squawkbox.exe must look for the files somewhere.
