Paul Gugliotta 992193 Posted July 31, 2007 at 11:50 AM Posted July 31, 2007 at 11:50 AM I tried FSini with no luck (I have Vista and things went bad and I had to do a system restore). I used Squawk Box 3 with FS9 with great success and I am hoping SW4 will be the easier solution to my new FSX set-up. Any idea when it will be out? Paul (I miss flying n-line) Luck isn't involved with running FSInn. Doing the proper steps are. It's unfortunate that it's taking so long for the updated information to make it to the PRC. But if you had done the simple four steps in the first message in the FSInn Help forum area (Installing FSInn), it's unlikely that you would have had any problems. I reviewed the message topics of your post, and don't see an effort to have any support for any problems you were having. I do see that you requested tech support for SB3, and you received responses to your questions. The same would happen with any problems you have with FSInn. And I'm sure the same will happen with any questions you get with SB4. I can understand you choosing not to have a concern with running FSInn. But it's not because FSInn is a problem. Just like the many questions about FS9. It's just a matter of having someone familiar with the application addressing a specific issue that a person might have with any application. -- L. James -- L. Steven Perry Posted July 31, 2007 at 04:49 PM Posted July 31, 2007 at 04:49 PM Luck isn't involved with running FSInn. Doing the proper steps are. Not quite. I could only see one other MP plane and could only transmit on voice (no receive) with FSInn. I moved and brought along all the same equipment and configuration, except I went from one cable ISP to another cable ISP. Now I'm working just fine. So maybe it isn't luck that Comcast is in one area and Time Warner is another, but it's nothing that I did do or did not do. My statement was more of a recommendation (using tech support) rather than an attempt to change somebody's philosophy. -- L. James -- L. D.
