The verbal callsign remains the same as "Blue Bird". OPERATIONAL - PACIFIC BLUE ICAO DESIGNATOR CHANGE Pacific Blue implements a change to the ICAO designator from 'PBI' to 'PBN'. Effective 1st August (first flight of local day). This change has been made in response to a request from ATC, which will avoid confusion between 'I' and '1' when reading aircraft call signs from the flight plan.
